Integrative Cancer Care for Pets

Personalized care that treats the cancer and supports the whole pet.

Cancer care should do more than target the disease alone. At Veterinary Oncology Center, our approach focuses on three priorities:

  • treating the cancer directly
  • supporting the immune system and resilience of the patient
  • improving the body’s internal environment so it is less supportive of cancer progression.

Our integrative approach looks at the big picture, not just at the cancer. We consider direct anti-cancer treatments as well as support your pet’s body with herbs, acupuncture, supplements, nutrition, and microbiome care along the way.

Every treatment plan is personalized to the individual patient and the goals of the family, with the aim of protecting both longevity and quality of life.

Every day, advances in veterinary medicine are giving pets and their families the promise of hope. With the aid of advanced treatments, more and more options are becoming available that are allowing pets with cancer to live longer and fuller lives. I believe best outcomes are achieved when we implement conventional anti-cancer treatments while supporting the body, the immune system, and overall quality of life. Cancer care in pets should not be only about survival; it should be about enjoying life while living with cancer. This is what we stand for at Veterinary Oncology Center.
